Dubbed as “CatSU Circle”, a total of 80 new housing slots will be made available for CatSU employees this year, 2022. As announced by CatSU President, Dr. Patrick Alain T, Azanza on Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2021, the 80 housing slots wherein CatSU employees will be determined through the usual public raffle draw for fairness and trasparency, shall be constructed just around the San Lorenzo Ruiz Chapel of the village. Hence, the housing project has its name, “CatSU Circle”.
Last month, the president himself had conducted ocular inspection to check the site. At present, the administration is finalizing the 2-level house design and pricing for the lot size of 70 sqm and floor size that will be 60 sqm (up and down). It was also reported that the lots have already been subdivided with individual titles. In addition, the road network, water and electrical facilities are already established.
This project will again be in joint partnership with the CatSU Federated Faculty Union and the CASUNEA. It can be remembered that the first batch of Off- Campus Housing Project of CatSU was awarded to 71 non-teaching and teaching employees. This is an exciting year to start for all CatSUans.
