The Catanduanes State University accommodated today, June 19, 2022 a total of 505 (441 Prof; 64 Sub-prof) examinees for its second time conduct this year of the Career Service Exam – Pen and Paper Test for the Professional and Sub-professional levels.
With the approval of Dr. Patrick Alain T. Azanza, SUC President III of CatSU on the request of Civil Service Commission Field Office Catanduanes Director Enida Abordo, the College of Business and Accountancy Building was used as testing venue.
Through the initiative of Dr. Azanza, 300 slots were given to CatSU students and employees. It can be remembered that Dr. Azanza had already requested 200 slots for the March 13, 2022 exam, of which, 38 successfully passed.
Director Abordo expressed her gratitude to the president and to the whole CatSU for opening the gates once again to the public for a good cause.
The Human Resource Team that Dr. Azanza had created was led by himself with the assistance of the assigned CatSU – Civil Service Commission Focal Person for CSE-PPT, Ms. Zyra Mae T. Tumala, together with her staff from the Corporate Communications Team; Janitorial Services headed by Mr. Alvin Talan; Security Services headed by Dr. Timbal, Building & Grounds Services headed by Engr. Benjamin Hannycel Nuyda, and Medical Services headed by Dr. Felix Ma III.
A close coordination was also done with the Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Maria Edna R. Iñigo, and the Dean of CBA, Prof. Esperanza San Juan to ensure readiness of the testing venue. Present also during the examination were the Director of Office of Student Support Services, Prof. John Cyrus B. Francis; Chief Administrative Officer-Admin, Atty. Gregorio M. Sarmiento Jr, and Human Resource Management Services Head, Ms. Sionne May T. Crispino.
An estimate of 800 examinees from all over the province took the test today. The other testing venue was at the Catanduanes National High School (CNHS).
