During that time there was a wooden bridge that connects sitio Ibong Sapa and Barangay San Vicente, every time people crosses the wooden bridge and someone asks from and where they are going? ” they will always say and answer… SA IBONG NING SAPA” This practice became a common knowledge to all the residents of the barangay and even to non-residents going to the sitio. As time goes by and population increases officials of the sitio insisted to separate the sitio from Barangay San Vicente and called it ”IBONG SAPA” a short way saying ”SA IBONG NING SAPA.
